The Montessori Academy of Colorado (MAC) is a metropolitan school that engages each child through innovative academics, character exploration, and a fearless, forward-thinking mindset. Founded in 2002 by a group of parents, MAC is a private Denver school celebrating more than 20 years of empowering fearless learners.
From 8 weeks (Nido) through Middle School (8th grade), MAC students develop critical thinking, social collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills, along with global and environmental awareness to prepare them as future innovators and world citizens. MAC is located in the historic Curtis Park neighborhood of downtown Denver.
MAC has a leading student-to-teacher ratio, trained and certified teachers, fully equipped Montessori classrooms, access to a local library, a music and art studios, tech lab, auditorium space, and an after-school enrichment program. With approximately 250 students, MAC fosters a dynamic social environment supported by passionate teachers, engaged parents, and dedicated administrators.
