In 2025, DPS achieved an Accredited (Green) rating from the Colorado Department of Education, meeting state expectations for academic achievement, growth and postsecondary readiness. The SchoolChoice timeline has changed! For the 2026-27 school year, the Round 1 window will open on Dec. 2, 2025 at 10 a.m. and close on Jan. 20, 2026 at 4 p.m. Families will be notified of placement results in late February.
