Located 20 miles southeast of Denver, Parker was founded in 1864 and incorporated in 1981. The town sits at an elevation of 5,900 feet above sea level and is one of the fastest-growing communities in Colorado. Parker offers residents a host of amenities, including 250 acres of developed parkland, 12 miles of concrete paved trails and more than 900 acres of open space. Parker is also home to the state-of-the-art Parker Arts, Culture and Events Center, Recreation Center and the innovative Parker Fieldhouse.
