  • Englewood is a small, urban community approximately 6.5 square miles in size located near the geographical center of the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. Nestled between the city of Denver and its suburbs to the south, Englewood Public School District, known as Englewood Schools, allows students to thrive in a unique learning environment.     Learning Options
    Students have many options for learning including an elementary International Baccalaureate program, an accelerated middle school, alternative educational opportunities at the high school level in an award-winning (John J. Irwin Colorado School of Excellence for five consecutive years) middle school, as well as more traditional educational opportunities.
    Approximately 25% of all Englewood Schools’ students come from outside the school district, making it one of the top districts in the state in terms of open enrollment.
