As if we need a reminder, but here we are again. According to the latest Best Places to live list by Bankrate.com, the cities of Denver and Colorado Springs are two of the best places to live in the United States.

Just about 60 miles apart, both cities are very different in personalities. Denver serves as the capital and the feel of a “big” city, while Colorado Springs enjoys a smaller population and a more laid back relaxed lifestyle. When it comes down to the cost of living, it costs on average 15.3% less to live in Colorado Springs vs. Denver. For new home buyers, Colorado Springs may be a great option, as the median cost of a home in the Springs is 23.1% less then in Denver.
