The Petersons opened their first store in Castle Rock in February of 2014. During his early years with the franchise, Steve became trained as a Certified Franchise Trainer and served in that role with the Vowells when they opened their first store in Parker in August of 2015. It was during this initial business relationship that the Petersons and the Vowells became fast friends. The Petersons then opened their Lone Tree location in January of 2018, followed by the Vowell’s opening of South Parker in early 2019.

The Petersons and Vowells want their customers to understand what is wrong with their vehicles and what their options are, and to feel confident about the services they receive. Customers will never be pressured for repairs or replacements they don’t need, and CBA will never go forward with altering a vehicle in any way until the customer signs off on it. Period.

Through the use of a digital vehicle inspection tool and a texting communication platform, the Petersons and the Vowells keep their customers consistently up to date throughout the commonly provided services such as A/C Service, Alignment, Batteries, Brake Service, Check Engine Light, Cooling System, Oil & Filter Change, Power Steering, Pre-Purchase Inspections, Scheduled Maintenance, Tire Rotation, and Transmission Services.

The cornerstone of Christian Brothers Automotive is quite simple: Treat others as you wish to be treated. The Petersons and the Vowells further embody this mindset through their dedicated service to their communities. Through the power of their combined stores, and that of other CBA owners in the Colorado market, they work diligently with numerous organizations to support those in need. The Petersons introduced the brand to Hide in Plain Sight resulting in several market-wide sponsorships of their annual fundraiser gala and store-based giving campaigns. The Vowells introduced the brand to SECORCares in Parker, with both couples joining forces last year to secure funding from the Christian Brothers Automotive Foundation to provide a mobile food market to SECORCares’ clients. The Vowells both work regularly with SECOR, specifically in providing food to students in the area through their Food for Thought program. Additionally the Peterson’s and Vowell’s stores hold regular service days throughout the year, providing free oil changes and safety-issue repairs to those in need in their communities.
