These are some of the inquiries the teachers at St. Anne’s Episcopal School use to guide students in embodying the Portrait of a St. Anne’s Graduate.

What role does compassion play in your child’s school day?

What is your child’s relationship to challenge and failure?

How does your child know they belong within their school community?

How will your child contribute to the world?

How does spiritual practice shape your child’s understanding of the world and their place in it?

Who they are:

St. Anne’s Episcopal School serves preschool through 8th-grade students, grounded in its founding values of community, curiosity, faith, compassion, and humility. When families join St. Anne’s, they become part of a collective story and a larger mission. While the school’s religious heritage, rooted in the legacy of the St. Anne’s Sisters, is deeply meaningful, it remains inclusive of people from all religious and non-religious backgrounds, as well as diverse social identities. This reflects the Episcopal faith at its best: both traditional and forward-thinking, accepting and inclusive, where the dignity of every person is respected, and diversity is genuinely appreciated as a gift.
