In a recent study conducted by Redfin, citing the hottest neighborhoods in the US to live, Colorado’s own West Arvada named 4th hottest neighborhood in the nation.  One might ask, what is it that makes a neighborhood “hot”? Let’s find out.

West Arvada Named 4th Hottest Neighborhood

Redfin conducted studies on neighborhoods with the “greatest year-over-year page view” growth on Redfin.com.  From the study, it was discovered that the top 10 neighborhoods had median home sales of less than $500,000, and out of those 10, three neighborhoods fell well below the national median of $279,900.

West Arvada is Gaining Popularity

Homes in West Arvada had a median sales price of $376,500.  Compared to Denver’s median sales price of $415,925.  With the recently added RTD Light Rail station with service to Downtown Denver and several new restaurants, breweries, locally owned shops, and miles of hiking trails, it’s no wonder that West Arvada is gaining popularity.

Two other Colorado neighborhoods made the list, however, not in the top 10, but definitely worth mentioning.  The North Park West neighborhood with a median sales price of $519,950, and Stapleton comes in with a median sales price of $554,200.
